PuT operating indicators: General tab

Element

Description

Calculate indicators for

Select the desired level of detail for the indicators to be calculated. In addition to the data output by territory, various levels of the line hierarchy can be combined for the desired data output.

Note

If option x vehicle combination has been selected for assessment, revenues (and cost coverage) are calculated only if paths were saved as connections. If paths are saved as routes, revenues are distributed without taking the vehicle combinations into account.

Save indicators also for vehicle journey items

If this option has been selected, the indicators are additionally determined for vehicle journey items and stored with the vehicle journey courses.

Consider only active vehicle journey sections

Select this option to have the attribute values calculated for active vehicle journey sections only.

Consider only active territories Select this option to have the attribute values calculated for active territories only.
Calculate PuT detail for vehicle journey items

If the option is selected, you can choose whether the relevant indicators for PuT detail are calculated for the detail level territory x vehicle journey item or territory x vehicle journey item x vehicle combination.

Note

Infrastructure costs and revenues are not calculated.

Calculate stop point analysis

If the option is selected, you can use a drop-down list to choose the level of detail for calculating the indicators at stop points (Fundamentals: Calculation of indicators on different aggregation levels).

Section Headway-based time profiles

You can calculate indicators of the transport supply even if only headway information is available for the supply (Fundamentals: PuT operating indicators).

Time profile is headway-based

Select a time profile attribute that indicates the headway. If no attribute is selected, no further options are available on this tab and no headway-based calculation can be performed.

Consider only active time profiles

If the option is selected, the indicators are calculated exclusively for active time profiles.

Section Headway

The start times of the time intervals are stored in the table. You can create these manually or copy them from another suitable procedure step using the Copy information about headway-based time profiles from other procedure step button.

The following procedure steps are displayed:

  • Headway-based assignments in which the headway is taken from an attribute
  • Timetable-based assignments in which headway-based time profiles and thus a headway-based part of the supply exist
